Taylor Swift Fans Accuse NFL Of Glaring Double Standard Over Madison Beer Treatment
Swift fans think the NFL is playing by different rules.
Taylor Swift fans are calling out the NFL after Madison Beer got tons of screen time during Sunday’s Chargers-Cardinals game.
Beer, who’s engaged to Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, was at the game and blew up on social media. The broadcast kept showing her, and clips of her in the stands spread all over the internet.
All that attention immediately brought back memories of the hate Swift faced whenever she showed up at Chiefs games. She was regularly seen cheering on Travis Kelce from a suite, and TV cameras cut to her after almost every big play, which annoyed many football fans at the time.
Even Kelly Stafford, wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, had spoken out back then about how much attention Swift was getting.
“I kind of got tired of the Chiefs’ coverage of it,” Stafford said during a 2024 episode of her show. “It was a good business decision for the NFL but I almost felt like it was outshining the games.”
Now, Swift fans argue that the reaction to Beer shows a double standard.

Another Swift supporter added, “You people had your pitchforks out after seeing taylor swift for a fraction of this amount of time, men are so irritating.”
Some NFL fans, however, made it clear they preferred seeing Beer during the broadcast.
“Give me the Madison Beer cam over the Taylor Swift cam 1000 times out of 1000,” one fan wrote.
This whole thing has people arguing about the NFL all over again. Swift fans think she got dragged way harder than anyone else while dating Kelce.
It just proves that when a huge star dates a football player, the cameras can’t look away. Now, Beer is dealing with the exact same issue just for showing up to support Herbert.
For Swift fans, it’s not really about Beer being on TV. It’s just that they feel she got totally unfair hate for doing the exact same thing other pop stars do at games.
