Haley Cavinder is the definition of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. The University of Miami graduate proved that once again this week.

NFL wives and girlfriends took center stage for the digital cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit special for February. That included Brittany Mahomes, Haley Cavinder, Normani, Christen Goff, Ronika Love, and Claire Kittle. Brittany stole the show with her sultry red bikini cover.

Sports Illustrated’s Allie Hayes wrote how “these women are breaking records, launching brands, building communities and redefining success on their own terms.”

The group looked stunning, modeling different black swimsuits. This came ahead of Super Bowl 2026 between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Sunday.

For her cover, the fiancée of Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson sported a black bikini while rocking a cowboy hat. That was just the start of her day. The women also posed in sultry swimwear at the South Seas resort in Fort Myers, Fla., for their individual covers, photographed by Katherine Goguen.

Former Miami star basketball player Haley Cavinder was photographed by Katherine Goguen in Fort Myers, Fla., for the February 2026 digital SI Swimsuit Issue cover.

The former Division I basketball player has continued to build her personal brand through content creation. She reached a whole new audience with her latest Sports Illustrated photos.

On Thursday, a behind-the-scenes video was shown of Cavinder posing in different bikinis.

Haley Cavinder made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut by walking in the 2024 SI Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week that week. She did so well that they had to bring her back.

Across five seasons at Fresno State and Miami, she averaged 16.9 points and 7.0 rebounds and was an all-conference honoree in both the Mountain West and ACC.
