President Donald Tr::ump Likely Won’t Like Patrick Mahomes’ Madden 27 Rating
Mahomes’ Madden ranking can’t be justified.
EASports shared its new Madden NFL 27 quarterback scores on Wednesday, July 29, and one rank caught eyes more than the rest. Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes came in fifth among quarterbacks with a 93 overall score.
That spot puts Mahomes behind Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and even Matthew Stafford going into the 2026 NFL season. Allen got the top rating at 99 overall, while Burrow came next at 97 and Jackson finished at 94.
This ranking has already started a lot of discussions among football fans. It could also be noticed by President Donald Trump, who has recently praised Mahomes and the team.
Trump Has Publicly Supported Mahomes And The Chiefs

Trump has made no secret of his admiration for Mahomes and Kansas City. The President has often spoken positively about the quarterback and the Chiefs, and many football fans view the team as one of his favorites.
His support has extended beyond the field. Trump previously praised Brittany Mahomes on his social media platform, Truth Social, after she publicly defended him during the 2024 election cycle.
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote at the time.
He continued by praising the Mahomes family and added, “What a great couple. See you both at the Super Bowl!”
Given those earlier comments, Trump might not like how EA Sports judged the Chiefs’ quarterback. Mahomes is still one of the top players and has won three Super Bowl rings. Still, Madden 27 ranks him below others this year.
The full top ten quarterback scores feature Josh Allen (99), Joe Burrow (97), Lamar Jackson (94), Patrick Mahomes (93), Drake Maye (92), Dak Prescott (91), Justin Herbert (90), Caleb Williams (90), and Jared Goff (88).
Trump has not spoken out about these scores yet. Even so, his past praise for Mahomes means he might share a clear view if he chooses to speak on the topic later.
For now, these Madden scores give fans something to think about before the 2026 season gets going
