Angel Reese’s Mom Stuns In Striking New Photo
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is in the midst of her second WNBA season after being drafted seventh overall in 2024.
Her mother has been by her side the entire time. Her name is also the same, but most refer to her as Angel Webb Reese.
The Chicago Sky basketball star was born to Michael Reese and Webb Reese in 2002.
In April 2024, Angel was drafted by the WNBA’s Chicago Sky after a successful collegiate career at the University of Maryland and Louisiana State University. Her mother was right there.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game against Washington, Reese’s mother took to X and shared a heartwarming photo of herself and young Angel on the court.
“Always a W when I get to hug & love on my mine,” she wrote.

Angel Reese made WNBA history again. In her second season with the Chicago Sky, she’s rewriting the record books one rebound at a time.
Despite Chicago falling to Minnesota 80-75 earlier this week, she grabbed 17 rebounds and scored 16 points for her fifth straight double-double. More importantly, she became the first player in league history to record five consecutive games with 15 or more rebounds.
This news comes on the heels of her earning Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors.
Her best performance came in the Sky’s 92-85 victory over Los Angeles, where she posted a season-high 24 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists.
On Tuesday, she brought down another 15 rebounds against Washington to extend her streak to 16 games. She also had 22 points and four assists.
Prior to Tuesday, Reese had a five-game stretch during which she averaged 17.0 points, 17.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game. Those numbers dwarfed her season averages of 12.4 points and 12.6 rebounds.
