TVLine has an exclusive sneak peek of tonight’s episode of 9-1-1 (ABC, 8/7c), in which Athena stops by Hen’s place to share a bottle of white — and a piece of her mind while she’s at it, throwing her full support behind Hen to become the new captain of the firehouse.

“I hope you’re not feeling guilty about the promotion,” Athena tells her in the video above. (Wait, “the promotion”? Does that mean Hen has already been chosen? That was quick!) “I mean, the best thing for the 118 would be you as captain,” she continues.

Athena continues to push for Hen to accept the promotion, prompting Hen to push back by reminding Athena of a similar decision she once made about her own career as a police sergeant.

So, what else is on tap for the penultimate episode of Season 8? “Following an earthquake, the 118 races to the scene of several unusual fires and must figure out their cause before anyone else is hurt,” according to ABC’s official logline. “Meanwhile, as everyone settles into their new normal, they try to move forward and plan for the future.”
