Dwight Howard’s baby mother, Royce Reed, expressed his frustration on social media after the recent claim from Amy Luciani against Howard, complicating their personal life dynamics.

Former NBA player Dwight Howard is at the center of controversy following explosive claims from his ex-wife, Amy Luciani. She alleged that Child Protective Services visited their home multiple times amid ongoing personal and family disputes. The allegations sparked widespread attention, prompting responses from those close to the situation, including Howard’s first ex-wife, actress Royce Reed.

In early 2025, Royce Reed accused Howard of manipulating their young son by portraying LeBron James negatively after Kobe Bryant’s death. She claimed Howard described James as unemotional to influence their son’s perception. Reed also called Howard narcissistic and shared that their home environment during the pandemic was toxic.

Now that the new major allegations against Luciani have come to light, Reed did not hold back, firing back at the situation with her unexpressed feelings.

“Are you fucking crazy, Amy? Amber? What is it? Like, are you serious right now? You call me crazy, right? You said I was jealous. You said I wanted him, when it’s always been about the damn kids,” Reed publicly said in a posted video.

“And now you want to sit here and cry and sit here and be like, it’s because of what everybody else did to him. No! It’s because of what he does to people. Shit! I was just fucking first,” she added.

Reed’s response highlighted her genuine frustration with the ongoing public disputes. Her remarks made it clear that she sees the situation as a continuation of Howard’s controversial behavior rather than a personal attack.

Last year, in July, a report alleged that Amy Luciani and Dwight Howard were planning to divorce just six months after their wedding. However, Luciani later posted photos with Howard in September, clearing up the confusion about their relationship. As a result, rumors circulated that Luciani was seeking a share of Howard’s assets, and she later firmly denied this on Instagram.

“With such a private moment like a marriage ending. I really do want to keep a lot private but it’s hard to watch this narrative spreading quickly about me.” she added. “I told him I want to sign a prenupt (sic) because I believe what you worked for is yours and I’m not the type of woman to take what’s not mine. I mentioned a prenupt first!! He declined.”

The couple remained legally married and publicly showed up together, posting personal updates with fans. However, the recent situation could speed up the divorce process.
