The New York Post reported that the FCC found no violations after looking into Bad Bunny’s halftime show.

“The FCC’s initial take is that the act and the songs that the Puerto Rican rapper belted out during the halftime show — ‘Tití Me Preguntó,’ ‘Monaco,’ and ‘Safaera’ — were scrubbed of lyrics that normally include references to sex acts and genitalia,” the Post reported.

“If they hadn’t been censored, the smutty lyrics could have violated FCC rules banning profanity and obscenity during primetime hours, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. The agency is said to have shelved any additional scrutiny barring further evidence, this person added.”

“The FCC is just not trying hard enough. I think Bad Bunny’s grandmother used a curse word before she died 20 years ago. Surely that is enough to put Bad Bunny in jail,” this fan added.

“I enjoyed a commentary by one comedian. First the government complained about NOT being able to understand a word he was saying. Second the government complained that he had said some salacious language (after 8 pm in most time zones) during his performance. I wonder who translated said salacious words to them ? The best part of this is that they would have to hire people from the PR to translate, and hopefully were charged some big bucks for the translation,” one fan wrote.
