Nika Muhl may have been sidelined for the entire 2026 WNBA season, but that has not stopped the Croatian guard from making headlines away from the court.
The 25-year-old sparked a huge reaction online after stepping out in a bold pregame look that quickly went viral among fans.
Muhl has been unable to play this season after suffering a torn ACL and meniscus in her right knee on March 11 while representing Croatia during the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket Qualifiers.
Despite the difficult setback, she has continued to support her team and recently drew plenty of attention with one of her most talked-about tunnel outfits yet.
Nika Muhl’s Pregame Look Gets Fans Talking
Muhl arrived wearing an oversized WNBA T-shirt that fell to around mid-thigh.
The shirt featured the words “THIRTY YEARS OF WNBA” across the front in a retro-style design, complete with an orange outline and small basketball graphics.
No shorts or trousers were visible beneath the long tee, leaving her legs fully on display and immediately catching the attention of fans online.
The look spread quickly across social media, with fans reacting enthusiastically to Muhl’s appearance.

Long Road Back From Consecutive Knee Injuries
The viral fashion moment comes during an extremely difficult stretch in Muhl’s basketball career.
The former UConn standout appeared in just 16 games for the Seattle Storm during her 2024 rookie season.
She averaged around 3.6 minutes per appearance, producing 0.1 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.
But her attempts to establish herself in the WNBA have repeatedly been interrupted by serious injuries.
Muhl first tore the ACL in her left knee in October 2024 while playing overseas for Turkish club Besiktas.
That injury forced her to miss the entire 2025 WNBA season while recovering from surgery.
Then came another major setback in spring 2026.
While representing Croatia, Muhl suffered another torn ACL — this time in her right knee — along with a meniscus injury, ruling her out for another full WNBA campaign.
Fans Still Showing Plenty of Love
Although supporters have not been able to watch Muhl play this season, she continues to command attention whenever she appears around the league.
Her latest tunnel look was another reminder of the following she has built since leaving UConn and entering the WNBA.
For now, the focus remains on recovery and the hope that 2027 finally allows her to return to the court after two brutal years of injuries.
