The Indiana Fever are excited to get star player Caitlin Clark back after the phenom missed the majority of the 2025 season with lower-body injuries. Clark is finally healthy and ready to pick back up where she left off.
Unfortunately, one of her teammates on the Fever, All-Star Aailyah Boston, is now dealing with an injury scare of her own. Boston is coming off one of the strongest seasons of her career, averaging 15 points a game and establishing herself as one of the premier post players in the WNBA.
Over the WNBA offseason, Boston has been competing in Unrivaled, a three-on-three league in the United States that serves as an alternative to players going abroad to play during the offseason.
Boston led the Phantom BC to an 11-3 record and the number one overall seed and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in the process.
Unfortunately, Boston left Phantom BC’s last regular season game with an injury, and has officially been rules out for the remainder of the season, meaning she’ll miss all of the playoffs.

While Unrivalved didn’t delve into any details regarding the injury other than that it was a “right lower extremity” injury, Indiana Fever reporter Chloe Peterson provided some clarity on when fans should know more.
“Considering the Unrivaled season ends in three days, “out for the season” doesn’t give much clarity on the seriousness of the injury. Boston is slated to join USA Basketball for training camp in Miami on March 6, so we should know more by then (if not earlier).”
Hopefully, Boston’s availability isn’t impacted for Team USA or the upcoming WNBA season.
