Money can’t heal grief, but it can ease life a bit when everything falls apart. That’s what thousands of people felt when they came together to support Charlie Kirk’s family after his tragic d3ath.

Kirk, a 31-year-old father of two and a familiar face in conservative circles, died on Wednesday after being sh0t while speaking at a debate at Utah Valley University. The crowd of more than 3,000 people watched in horror as a bullet struck him in the neck. His security team rushed him to a hospital, but doctors pronounced him d3ad soon after. Police captured the suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, two days later.

Tributes poured in from every corner. President Donald Trump called him a “patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate and the country he loved so much, the United States of America .” His widow, Erika, shared a heartbreaking message about telling their three-year-old daughter that her father would not be coming home. And she would continue his tours, radio shows, and podcast.

“Our team at ALP is heartbroken by the d3ath of Charlie Kirk,” the campaign message read. “Charlie leaves behind his wife, Erika, and their two young children. As they navigate this unimaginable loss, we want to rally together to provide security and stability for Charlie’s loved ones. Our goal is to raise as much as possible to support the Kirk family. ALP has contributed $1 million to this effort, and we invite you to join us in honoring Charlie’s legacy by giving whatever you are able. We hope you’ll join us.”

The speed of the donations stunned even longtime supporters. Contributions poured in from across the country.

Erika Kirk thanked the supporters and made sure that her husband’s movement would not fade. “I refuse to let that happen,” she said. “No one will ever forget my husband’s name, and I will make sure of it.”

Charlie Kirk is survived by his wife Erika, their three-year-old daughter, and one-year-old son. The fundraiser is still going.
