VIDEO: Team USA Couldn’t Stop Laughing As Caitlin Clark Tried To Hide Her Bare Feet From The Camera

Caitlin Clark is avoiding cameras whenever possible during the FIBA Women’s World Cup.
Her latest attempt gave her own teammates something to laugh about.
Team USA beat Italy 55-52 on Sunday to improve to 2-0, though it came in the lowest-scoring World Cup game since 1971. Clark struggled through the match, finishing with just one point and one assist on an 0-for-6 shooting night. The postgame locker room scene possibly drew more attention than the box score.
A camera panned through the locker room following the win, and Clark visibly tried to keep her feet out of the shot.

Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young noticed immediately, pointing directly at Clark’s feet as the camera passed by.

Clark has developed something of a pattern around cameras throughout this World Cup run. She pulled a similar move in March after a qualifying win over Italy, pressing her face against an advertising board in the tunnel to avoid reporters entirely.
That clip picked up more than 120,000 views within hours, with fans similarly puzzled by her behavior.
Clark’s struggles on Sunday stood out, given the historic debut she’d delivered days earlier against China, when she posted a Team USA World Cup record for assists without a turnover.
Team USA continues group play this week as it works toward the knockout rounds, with Clark’s on-court form likely to matter far more than her camera-avoidance habits as the tournament progresses.
