Amazon Prime Just Unleashed the Military Thriller of the Year — Imagine Jack Ryan on Steroids, with an Underrated Hollywood Star at the Center of Explosive Shootouts, Twisted Betrayals, and Government Conspiracies That Could Topple Nations!

Forget everything you thought you knew about spy thrillers — Amazon Prime’s latest series is a full-throttle ride through smoke-filled battlefields, shadowy backrooms, and conspiracies that reach the highest levels of power. At its core is a Hollywood star you never saw coming — overlooked for years, now delivering a performance that rivals the intensity of Krasinski’s Jack Ryan and the grit of Bourne.

With shocking betrayals, adrenaline-pumping action, and a story so addictive viewers are already calling it “impossible to pause,” this might just be the most explosive military drama of the decade.

Amazon Prime Video has this morning released all seven episodes of a new macho military TV show.

Joining the ranks of Jack Ryan and Reacher is The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, starring Taylor Kitsch as Navy Seal Ben Edwards.

TV fans might recognise the name from the original show The Terminal List, in which Kitsch starred alongside Chris Pratt’s fellow Navy Seal James Reece, who returns home with PTSD after his entire platoon is ambushed.

But back on familiar soil, Reece uncovers a conspiracy that puts him in the firing line of the scheming government.

This dad-core TV prequel is more of the same shoot-out action entertainment, and Pratt reprises his role as Reece, this time as a supporting character.

Meanwhile, Kitsch’s character Ben Edwards finds himself entangled in backstabbing and hidden agendas.

This time our action man hero is more of a maverick, prone to flying off the handle. It’s something he has to get a handle on when he’s tapped to be a CIA operative amid an Iranian nuclear threat that needs defusing.

The original Terminal List series proved hugely divisive, with mismatched Rotten Tomatoes scores for critical reception compared to that from the general TV viewing public.

TV reviews gave the show a 40% approval rating, which was hugely at odds with a 94% audience score, as well as viewership numbers that broke a number of Amazon Prime streaming records.

It’s clear that the Amazon Prime subscribers who enjoyed the original show are already gearing up to binge all of this one, as the trailer has been viewed over a million times and has a heap of gushing comments below the line.

The majority of the commentary has focused on how pleased viewers are to see Hollywood star Taylor Kitsch in the starring role.

‘Taylor Kitsch is the most underrated actor in Hollywood. The man is great in everything he’s in,’ decreed @jlupien502 as @irvinglopez5922 echoed: ‘Taylor Kitsch is at his absolute BEST!’

@jatilq added: ‘Underrated cast. I mean, most of the faces. I hope it gets them all back in the main lineups.’

‘Taylor Kitsch is freaking amazing. He did so well in American Primeval,’ chimed @FlexKV.
