LeBron James might be the official GOAT after this one.
Fans of LeBron James are going insane on social media this week.
At age 16, LeBron played in a 2001 Chicago pickup game with Michael Jordan and other NBA pros. It has been talked about for years, but no footage has ever surfaced. The then-high school sophomore was already a phenom by then and billed as the next great player in the NBA.
The game took place at Hoops the Gym in Chicago, where Jordan was preparing for his comeback with the Washington Wizards. Aside from MJ, the game included players such as Ron Artest, Penny Hardaway, Jamal Crawford, Paul Pierce, Antoine Walker, and Michael Finley.
After 25 years, we have finally seen a snippet of that contest. Somebody dropped the insane footage of a 16-year-old LeBron James getting a rebound and dunking it back in. Right below him was Jordan, who tried and failed to stop it from happening.
Former NBA champion Antoine Walker said Lebron waited for hours to play Jordan that day. LeBron also spoke about that day.

Last year, LeBron James was a special guest on ‘New Heights’ podcast.
The four-time NBA champion and all-time leading scorer was asked about Michael Jordan’s legendary pickup games. Following his 1998 retirement, the Chicago Bulls icon would host offseason summer workouts with fellow pros, collegiate standouts, or overseas players.
He was planning on coming back to the league. One of the players in attendance was a 16-year-old LeBron.
“First of all, MJ, Antoine Walker and the rest of those guys did not let young guys get on the court, at all,” James told Jason and Travis Kelce.
“And I was 16 years old. I was a sophomore in high school, and it takes a while to get on the court.
“Usually when the older guys, they get tired and they don’t want to play no more. … I was on the court with Michael Jordan, Antoine Walker, Penny Hardaway, Ron Artest, and Michael Finley.”
LeBron James revealed how nervous he was, but couldn’t wait to get on the court and bust a–. He eventually got on the same court with Jordan. When asked who guarded him, LeBron responded, “Nobody. I was unguardable,” LeBron said.
“I was nervous as hell, but I was like, ‘I’m about to go crazy,’ and I did.”
25 years later and LeBron is still going crazy on the court.
Fearne Cotton has broken her silence on split from husband Jesse Wood in her first TV interview since the breakup.
Joining Lorraine Kelly on Monday’s episode of the ITV show, the TV presenter, 43, also gave an health update after having two tumours removed from jaw.
Fearne announced her split from Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones bass guitarist Ronnie Wood, in December after 10 years of marriage.
She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.
Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.
She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.
‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’
Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.
She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best
It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.
Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.
Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’
She told how her health scare has changed her outlook and said she has been seeking comfort from Davina.
