News has come out concerning the family of rapper Snoop Dogg. On social media, his daughter announced the tragic loss of her daughter. The child was only 10 months old at the time of her death.

Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Shared The Tragic News During An Instagram Story

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., better known as Snoop Dog, is an influential rapper and record producer. The West Coast native started his career in the early 1990s.

Snoop Dog has three children with his wife, Shante Taylor: Corde, Cordell, and Cori. He also has a son, Julian Corrie Broadus, from a previous relationship.

Recently, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori, shared tragic news on social media. Her baby daughter, Codi Dreaux, has passed on.

During an Instagram Stories share on January 41, Cori shared a black-and-white photo of herself while holding her child. Over the photo, she wrote, “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” adding an angel’s wing emoji.

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared similar photos on his Instagram Stories. He shared, “I [have] been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” adding, “My baby.”

Cori Had Previously Kept Fans Updated About Her Daughter Throughout Her Pregnancy

Cori previously announced the birth of her daughter on Instagram in February 2025, revealing that Codi had been born three months early. At the time, she wrote “The princess arrived at 6 months,” while sharing an image of her newborn daughter’s foot.

Cori continued, “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever! Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me.” During an Instagram Stories share, she also revealed that her baby was delivered through a C-section.

In another post on Instagram, Cori was able to bring her daughter home after spending 10 months in the NICU. She shared that she was finally able to bring her daughter home in early January. Cori also thanked her followers for their support during this time, noting, “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love.”

 

Since the news has come out, followers have taken to social media to share their condolences with Cori. Many were on posts in which she shared the progress of her pregnancy. Some comments included:

“Condolences to the family.”
“She was so adorable.”
“Sorry about your loss of your baby girl.”
