Harris Faulkner Steps Away From Fox News Show As Fans Rally Around Her During Difficult Moment
FOX News star Harris Faulkner has told dads they will need some prayers in a new video shared while she takes a break from her daytime show.
The anchor offered some lighthearted advice about dealing with family problems, pulling out what she called her “life toolkit.”

“Hey dad, you may have tools for everything you need to repair, but what happens when something comes up for your family, you don’t know you have the right tool for?” Faulkner says in the clip.
“But I have some ideas for you. I’ll take out my life toolkit.”
Faulkner then held up three separate pieces of paper as she reveals what she believes parents need most.
“You gonna need faith, you gonna need scripture and you definitely gonna need prayer,” she says.
“Go dads.”
The video came as Faulkner, 60, explained that she is taking some time away from Fox News for family commitments and a college move.
“While I take a break for family and fun… And a college move back into the dorms… some summer moments to put some smiles and love into your algorithms,” she wrote.
“Joy to you!”
Faulkner’s eldest daughter started college in the fall of 2025.
The update appears to put to rest any concern about Faulkner’s absence from her usual spot on Fox.
Faulkner has two teen daughters, Bella and Danika, with her husband, Tony Berlin.
She and Berlin, a media consultant, raised their daughters in an interracial and multi-religious household, as Faulkner is Baptist Christian and Berlin is Jewish.

Faulkner opened up about her fears about Bella attending college in February 2025, months before the school season started.
“As a person of color, and as a person who speaks boldly about faith, it’s very adjacent when people are hated for the way that they believe, and their position in society,” she told the Daily Mail.
“Am I more worried about them standing out for their hair texture and their skin color or their faith?
“I’m worried about all of it. And not just for my kids
“I really think it’s important for Jewish children on campuses to know that they have partners, that the hate on the campus is a microcosm compared with the love that’s out there.”
The anchor keeps her personal life mostly private, but spoke about raising biracial daughters in a 2020 interview with PEOPLE.
“I’m teaching my girls that you’ve got to come into the center of the room if you want to find peace,” she said.
“We’re raising our girls predominantly Christian but they’re exposed to everything … we do Passover and the reading of the Haggadah … with biracial children, they, to me, are the epitome of where our attitude should be.”
Faulkner said in 2020, when Bella was 13 and Danika was 10, that she would keep them informed on current events in the US despite their young ages.
“They’re aware that there are problems. My 13-year-old will say, ‘When is this going to end?’ And I’ll say, ‘It will end when people decide that resilience and surviving this is more important than being right,” she said.
Faulkner regularly anchors The Faulkner Focus at 11am ET before appearing as a co-host of Outnumbered at noon.
She has been one of Fox News’ best-known daytime faces after joining the network as a correspondent in 2005.
Faulkner confirming she was stepping away for some time came as fellow Fox News star Maria Bartiromo parted ways with the company after an over 12- year career.
The company announced the 58-year-old was no longer part of the company, bringing an end to her shows across Fox News and Fox Business.
There was no reason given as to why Bartiromo was no longer with the company, but Fox News Media said “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
