Cris Collinsworth certainly has a way with his words.
The former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver was back to his usual self on Sunday Night Football as he called the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons.
He was definitely on one when referring to Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy being back on the field at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, just days after welcoming his newborn son with fiancée Katya Kuropas.
The couple announced the arrival of their son, Rome, on Friday.
“Welcome to the world, Rome Micah McCarthy ✨,” Kuropas wrote via Instagram. “The sweetest, most perfect gift from God!! We are so unbelievably blessed to be your parents 💙.”
In the midst of speaking about him becoming a first time dad, Cris Collinsworth said the phrase, “let’s go, dada.”
Social media couldn’t believe their ears.
“Can someone send me the sound bite of Chris Collinsworth saying “lets go dada,” one person said.
“Chris Collinsworth did not just say “let’s go da da,” a second person added.
“The silence in the booth after Cris Collinsworth said “lets go da-da,” a third person added.
“May I never have to hear Cris Collinsworth say “Dada” again,” one final person commented.

The Vikings opened their house Sunday night, but the night would belong to the kickers.
The Atlanta Falcons, who placed Kaleb McGary on the season-ending injured reserve list last month, got the road win at the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2, and they have their kicker to thank for it.
It was a primetime game filled with field goals, as both Michael Penix Jr. and J.J. McCarthy failed to make big plays.
JJ McCarthy finished with 158 passing yards on just 11 of 21 completions for no touchdowns and two picks, while fumbling three times.
Penix Jr. recorded just 135 passing yards on 13 of 21 completions for no touchdowns and no picks.
Cris Collinsworth and his crew had to fill a lot of dead air in this game, with the Falcons’ lone touchdown coming late in the fourth quarter.
