A bold arena arrival had WNBA fans talking for hours.
Chicago Sky rookie guard Saylor Poffenbarger was hyped up a lot before Wednesday’s WNBA game because of her stylish pregame outfit.
She arrived at the arena wearing a pink top and matching skirt. After Inside Maryland Sports shared a photo of her on X, the post gained popularity. Poffenbarger, who played college basketball at the University of Maryland, has already begun building a fan following early in her WNBA career.
While fans are still getting to know her as a player, many were talking about her outfit before the game.

Inside Maryland Sports posted the photo with the caption, “Saylor Poffenbarger pulling up to the arena for tonight’s Chicago Sky game.”
Fans loved it, surely.
“She built,” one fan wrote.

“Elite,” a third fan commented.
Poffenbarger joined the Chicago Sky on a hardship contract after going undrafted in the 2026 WNBA Draft. Before that, she signed a training camp deal with the Minnesota Lynx and played in three preseason games.
She averaged 5.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game during that stretch. In her first preseason game, she recorded nine points and 13 rebounds.
Before starting her professional career, Poffenbarger spent two seasons at Maryland. She helped the Terrapins reach the NCAA Tournament and averaged 9.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.6 blocks in 31 starts.
One of her best performances came on Dec. 12, 2025, when she scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a double-overtime win over Minnesota.
Poffenbarger also played at UConn and Arkansas during her college career. In Arkansas, she earned five SEC Freshman of the Week awards and made the All-SEC Freshman Team.
