Cunningham has become one of the most entertaining players in the league, starting with her pregame outfits. She reached a new level of fame when she attacked a Connecticut Sun player to protect Caitlin Clark. Cunningham committed a flagrant foul on guard Jacy Sheldon, earning her a one-game suspension.

The major injury she suffered cut short her first season with the Fever. Cunningham was limited to 30 games this season, averaging 8.6 points and 3.5 rebounds. She improved her efficiency from the floor. Cunningham shot career-highs of 46.9% from the field and 43.2% from three-point range.

She has been using the offseason to rehab so she is ready for the 2026 season. That led her to post her latest update on Instagram this week. Her first video featured her flexing her legs on a Peak Pilates Casita or Fit reformer machine.

A second video showed Sophie Cunningham’s legs spread wide as she stretched them on the same machine while lying down.
