A Texas state trooper was public enemy number one on Saturday, and he even got the attention of LeBron James.

The incident occurred during a game between Texas A&M and South Carolina at Kyle Field on Saturday after South Carolina players Nyck Harbor and Oscar Adaway III were walking through a stadium tunnel after Harbor caught an 80-yard touchdown pass.

At the same time they were making their way back, a Texas state trooper appeared to bump into Adaway. The trooper then turned and pointed at them, seemingly scolding them for their actions.

The moment quickly went viral, which prompted Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James to call for the trooper’s suspension in an X post.

“That A&M cop needs to be suspended! That was premeditated and corny AF!! He went out his way to start some shit. Do better man,” the NBA star wrote in a post that has been seen by millions of people.

Not everybody was on board with what LeBron James was talking about, and it had nothing to do with him wanting the trooper suspended.

James would have been glad to know that the trooper was relieved of his assignment at Kyle Field on Saturday, according to the statement by Texas A&M police.

LeBron called for a trooper to pay for his actions, but former Texas A&M star Leon O’Neal Jr. wanted him to move on from it since his alma mater was winning.
