Rondale Moore at training camp

Rondale Moore was just 25.

More heartbreaking details have emerged on the tragic passing of veteran NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore.

On Saturday night, news broke that Rondale Moore passed away at the age of 25. A former 2021 second-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals, Moore was a part of the Minnesota Vikings’ roster. He missed the entire 2025 campaign recovering from a knee injury he suffered in the preseason.

According to Ahmad Hicks of FOX 9, Moore was found dead in a New Albany, Indiana, garage from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police are still investigating the matter.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Moore’s family, friends and the Minnesota Vikings’ football club during this terrible time.

The Arizona Cardinals drafted Moore in the second round (49th overall) in 2021. He was one of two Purdue players drafted that year, along with linebacker Derrick Barnes (a fourth-round pick of the Detroit Lions).

Arizona used Moore sparingly on offense, but gave him plenty of snaps on the special teams. In three NFL seasons, Moore caught 135 passes for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns.

He also helped the Cardinals end a six-year playoff drought in the 2021 season. They finished 11-6 to snag a wild card berth, falling to the Los Angeles Rams in the opening round of the playoffs.

Moore was even more dynamic on the Cardinals’ special teams unit. He returned 22 kickoffs for 182 yards and 13 punts for 291 yards. Moore averaged an impressive 22.4 yards per punt return.

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget
