Paige Bueckers’ “Shameful” Actions While Wearing Team USA Jersey Are Under Intense Scrutiny [VIDEO]
Paige Bueckers raised plenty of eyebrows.
Paige Bueckers put on the USA jersey and the internet lost it. However, the big reactions didn’t stem from one of her highlights. The clip, original from Angel Reese’s TikTok, showed the Dallas Wings guard showing off her dance moves. Bueckers is upside down against a wall. She is wearing No. 4. She is dancing.
Team USA opens the FIBA Women’s World Cup against China. The roster is in Berlin. The video is not about basketball. Fans called the moment “inappropriate.” They called it “disrespectful.”

The dance is short. The reaction is not.
One user wrote, “Paige Bueckers twerking while wearing USA jersey. Do they use their brain at all?”
Another said she looks “absolutely vulgar” and called it “a shameful thing to do while wearing the USA jersey.”

A third post argued, “I understand having fun but to act like this whilst wearing your countries uniform isn’t a good look at all.”
Jason Whitlock went further. He said the clip turned the locker room “into a strip club.” He added, “Your daughter was promised a captain; she got a stripper.”
USA Basketball has a code of conduct. Players must represent the country on and off the floor. There is no public word of discipline. The jersey still did the damage. Bueckers once said every time you put it on is “very, very special.”
This is the same star whose debut jersey sale set a women’s memorabilia record. The same player whose All-Star after party clip already split fans. The USA kit raised the bar.
Why Paige Bueckers Became the Target

Reese posted the group video. Several teammates danced. Bueckers became the face of it. She is the one inverted on the wall. That frame traveled fastest.
Some fans aimed at the whole group. “They are making America look like 🤡🤡 no self-respect whatsoever.”
Another wrote that a federation should “ban my players from doing those little TikTok dances in the official kit.”
Defenders called the pile-on selective. They pointed to other WNBA viral bits that drew less heat.
