Hailey Van Lith looks better than she plays, and she plays well.

The best thing to happen to Hailey Van Lith was being cut by the Chicago Sky. Through two games, she is already averaging more minutes on the court with the Sun.

This past Sunday, the team was at home to face the Seattle Storm. It would be a much closer game than the blowout they suffered at the hands of New York. Following that game, Van Lith had a message to send.

Just before the team faced the Storm, Van Lith came to the game in style. Inside the Mohegan Sun Arena, she was spotted in a cropped white t-shirt that read, “I hate New York.” The bottom half of her shirt exposed her incredible abs as she paired it with some blue jeans.

Hailey Van Lith is also wearing an oversized brown faux-fur coat. In her right hand was a burgundy woven leather handbag. On her feet were white pointed-toe slingback heels. Hailey’s style has been gaining significant attention online, with her previous look also going viral.

A staggering number of players have been cut from WNBA squads at the start of the new season. WNBA teams are allowed to have 18 players in training camp, but that number must be reduced to 12 by opening night.

Notably, Hailey Van Lith was cut by the Chicago Sky after just one season in the league. However, she went on to sign for the Connecticut Sun. This is the first season the WNBA is playing under its new CBA, meaning salaries are higher, and teams have more money to spend.

During her 2025 rookie WNBA season, Van Lith averaged 12.4 minutes per game across 29 regular-season appearances. She primarily served in a reserve role, averaging 3.5 points and 1.6 assists during her limited time on the court.

Early in the 2026 WNBA season, Hailey Van Lith is averaging 9.0 points, 4.0 assists, and 1.0 rebounds per game. She has played 14 minutes and 20 minutes in back-to-back games. Van Lith is surely taking advantage of it.
