The father, who was openly berated by the Phillies Karen, wants social media to give her grace, despite her actions.

Unless you live under a rock without internet, you’ve probably seen the video.

It starts with a home run ball that went into the stands as a Phillies father grabbed it for his young son and embraced him. Unfortunately, an irate woman comes over and yells at him before the man reluctantly gives it to her.

That father is now speaking out about the incident as online sleuths continue to search in vain for the identity of “Phillies Karen.”

Social media investigators have not stopped trying to identify the woman in the video, and now, Drew Feltwell has a message for them.

“Please don’t do anything to that lady,” Drew Feltwell told USA Today in an interview this week. “Leave it alone. You know, somebody knows her and can talk to her, that’s different.”

He added, “But God, I don’t want people breaking in their house and stuff like that. The internet already messed her up pretty good.”

During the verbal altercation, Feltwell only gave the ball back to the Phillies Karen because he was “just trying to set an example of how to de-escalate a situation in front of my son.”

Company Dangles Lucrative Deal for Furious Phillies Karen’s Home Run Ball

A trading card retailer has joined the action over the viral video showing an irate woman demanding that a father give her a home run ball during the team’s game against the Miami Marlins last week.

Blowout Cards issued a statement, saying the company would offer $5,000 to the woman for the baseball, “but there’s a catch.”

“We want that ball signed and inscribed by her — and only her, whoever she is — ‘I’m sorry’ so we can simply give it back to the kid. Our offer is official and the offer is firm,” the company said to the Phillies Karen.

Internet sleuths have wrongly identified a few people as they search for her.

The father at the center of the firestorm, Drew Feltwell, has been trying his best to calm the anger of social media to stop trying to find her, because things could get really scary for her and her family.

Feltwell said he hoped nothing bad would happen to her.

Unfortunately for the Phillies Karen, social media can be quite unforgiving, so this thing may not blow over for some time.
