Since his elimination earlier in the season, Brandon, 31, has hosted the official TikTok live after show with co-star Britt Stewart.

Britt, 36, was eliminated in the first week of voting with partner Baron Davis while Brandon was voted out the following week with his partner, Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony.

Many fans thought both eliminations were unfair and premature, specifically Brandon and Lauren due to the judges “largely underscoring” them.

Brandon was able to address the situation after the show this week when he confronted Carrie Ann, 57, face-to-face backstage,

“Y’all gave me the same score as Andy that night I got eliminated,” he fired off to Carrie Ann while interviewing her for the TikTok live.

“You can do it, bring it on. I was always waiting for you to bring it up,” Carrie Ann responded, seeming to know the confrontation was coming.

“Me and Lauren tied with Andy and Emma the week that we got eliminated,” Brandon repeated, which resulted in Carrie Ann grimacing.

The judge looked very uncomfortable for a moment while the live’s co-host, Britt, appeared shocked and said “uh oh.”

“Honestly, you want to know why?” Carrie Ann warned him.

Brandon then looked nervous and shook his head, adding: “Actually you know what? I don’t. I don’t,” he said with a laugh, before asking: “We botched it?”

“No, you didn’t botch it. You didn’t botch it. We’ll talk about that one day,” she responded as she gave him a hug.

They went on to shift the conversation, as it appeared as though neither wanted to discuss the details that led to Brandon and Lauren’s low scores.

Most of the DWTS fans thought Carrie Ann deserved the confrontation, with one writing: “Honestly, he deserves to be a little bit salty. I feel like CAI does him dirty every season.”

“Good for him for putting the heat on, I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often (at least not these days),” said another.

“The problem with CAI, will always be her inconsistencies. She did it yesterday as well, not giving any critique to Dylan and Robert on their frame, stiffness etc. giving them all 10s applauding them like they won Blackpool,” a third wrote.

“I couldn’t finish last season specifically because of how harshly she critiqued Chandler every time,” another said, of Brandon’s partner last season, Chandler Kinney.

However, others defended the judge, with one insisting: “And yet he probably wouldn’t ask Derek this question. I love Brandon but he seems rot only call out CAI when all the judges gave the same score that night.”

While one more deduced: “I love her because you can tell she really cares, but for her she clearly picks favorites and lets it affect her scoring.”
