Kyle Singler’s life has fallen off a veritable cliff since his playing days ended.
In November 2024, the former Duke star and NBA player drew concern across the basketball world after posting a pair of bizarre videos on Instagram. In the post, he stated that he fears for his life “every day.”
In the video, he appeared shirtless and spoke openly about his struggles and how his life has become increasingly difficult.
Days after his videos were posted, a representative of the Medford Police Department in Oregon confirmed to TMZ Sports that they were aware of his disturbing uploads, but provided no further information regarding potential assistance.
Almost a year later, and not much has changed for Kyle Singler.

Former NBA player Kyle Singler’s life has taken another downturn after he was charged with misdemeanor assault on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old was booked into the Haskell County Jail on one misdemeanor count of assault and battery in the presence of a child. His girlfriend accused him of becoming physical with her in front of their young child.
According to The AP, Singler allegedly attacked his girlfriend and was seen chasing her before he was arr3sted. His girlfriend told police that he grabbed her by the head and shoved her to the ground. Police reportedly noticed finger outlines on her face and marks on her arm.
Authorities said Kyle Singler was not cooperative and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was released on $6,000 bond.
The former Duke standout won a national championship with the Blue Devils in 2010 and was named MVP of the tournament.
Singler kicked off his NBA career in 2011 after a stellar career with Duke. The former Duke star played six seasons with the Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game during his NBA career.
