Israel and Iran traded more deadly strikes on the third and fourth days of escalating conflict.

The ongoing war continues despite calls for a halt to the fighting, with neither country backing down as their conflict rages on.

The exchange of fire comes as talks on Iran’s nuclear program in Oman between the U.S. and Iran were called off.

The country in the Middle East, located at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea, struck oil refineries, k!lled the intelligence chief of its paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, and hit population centers in intensive aerial attacks that raised the d3ath toll in the country since they kicked off the war on Friday.

Widely believed to be the only nuclear-armed state in the Middle East, they have aimed their missiles at Iran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program and military leadership.

Not even the media is safe.

The Israeli military on Monday struck the headquarters of Iranian state television in northern Tehran mid-broadcast.

In footage of the moment from the live broadcast, an explosion tears through the studio, sending a news presenter running for cover as debris falls into camera view.

The strike came amid a fourth day of missile attacks.

Israel says its military campaign is aimed at dismantling Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, citing the “existential threat” it would face if Iran were to develop an atomic bomb.

President Trump says he hopes Israel and Iran can reach a deal, but tensions continue to rise between the two Middle Eastern countries.

Iran’s d3ath toll climbed to 224, with more than 1,200 people injured.

Israel reported 24 people k!lled since Friday.

Unfortunately, a ton of these d3aths and injuries have been civilians who simply want to live their lives without war and conflict.
