In a very funny collection of remarks posted to X (formerly Twitter), commenters mocked and roasted Senator Adam Schiff as he panicked and freaked out over President Donald Trump’s announcement that former Secret Service agent and podcaster Dan Bongino would be the second-in-command at the FBI after Kash Patel. Bongino then commented on going after Schiff.

President Trump, as background, announced the news by saying, “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State.”

Continuing, he said, “He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”

Bongino then, after the announcement, commented on how he will go after Schiff. He said, “Why is Adam Schiff so worried folks?” He continued, “I strongly encourage you to go back and take another look today at the Russia collusion hoax,” he said.  “I know it’s a story that’s old, and a lot of people want to move on.”  However, Bongino maintained the hoax must be revisited now that Trump is back in power. “I’m going to be straight with you. I don’t want to move on.”

He added, “We had the FBI in conjunction with the Department of Justice officials in Congress, foreign governments and Intel people, fabricate a story, invent a story that could have caused and done serious, long term harm to international relations with a nuclear powered foe. It’s kind of a big freaking deal. I’m not letting it go.”

Bongino emphasized, “And you listen to me, this is going to be very important in the coming days. I’m not letting this go. I want to find out what happened, because it can never happen again, not to a Democrat, not to a Republican, not to a libertarian, not to any United States citizen.”  He then maintained that such conduct can never occur again within the United States government.

Senator Schiff freaked out on Twitter. Doing so, he said, “Selecting another right-wing Fox personality and internet troll — Dan Bongino — as Deputy FBI Director means two things: Trump installs another loyalist who won’t say no to any immoral or unethical act. And our law enforcement agencies — and the public safety — are further degraded.”

Commenters found Schiff’s panicking to be very funny. One person who quote-tweeted his post, for example, said, “Things Adam Schiff says when he knows he’s headed to prison.” A commenter on Schiff’s post said, “Aren’t you the same guy that accepted a preemptive pardon from lawless president in order to cover for your crimes?”

Yet another commenter on Sen. Schiff’s post said, “You think your preemptive pardon is going to save you. It won’t.” Still another said, “Tick tock, Adam. You are censured liar and an illegally pardoned criminal.” And another added, “Schiff. The real threat to law enforcement was the FBI running political ops for your party while covering for Biden’s corruption. Bongino’s there to clean house, not play swamp games. Cry harder.”
