Fans knew he’d be back… but not like this.

Travis Kelce has officially signed his new extension with the Kansas City Chiefs. And it’s two years longer than everyone expected.

Kelce announced he would be returning for a 14th season earlier this month, crediting his fiancée, Taylor Swift, with driving him toward said decision.

It was initially reported that the team would re-sign the tight end on a one-year deal. However, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has reported that the player has actually inked a three-year contract worth $54.735 million.

The deal could be worth up to $57.735 million, with Kelce set to earn $12 million plus a potential $3 million in incentives in 2026.

The reactions were marked with shock, with fans incredulous.

“Three year deal?” one asked.

“You’re telling me we’re stuck w this for 3 more years?” another wondered.

“Unless its 1 year and retired he fleeced them,” said a third.

“3 years? He don’t even got 1…. What an overpay,” another comment read.

“I triple checked the name – I thought this was satire,” someone wrote.

“I doubt he even plays all 3 years dude looked like he was boutta retire after this season what makes you think he’s gonna play 3 more years,” a user said.

“What the f**k is this? He’s not worth all that anymore,” someone else declared.

Kelce has admittedly slowed a step and, over the past two seasons, hasn’t been the player fans knew.

Still, he says he has not lost his passion for the game.

“I’m still in love with this game,” he told Pat McAfee two weeks ago. “I still love going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out and just playing the game. I think my best opportunity was playing for the Chiefs yet again and running this thing back with Pat Mahomes and Coach (Andy) Reid.”

As to whether the Chiefs’ decision to tie him down long-term pays off remains to be seen.

But he’s likely looking forward to his wedding at the moment, which is reportedly set to take place before training camp.

She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.

Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.

She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.

‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’

Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.

She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best

It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.

Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’

She told how her health scare has changed her outlook and said she has been seeking comfort from Davina.
