TLC fans met Chantel Everett when she fell in love with Pedro Jimeno, whom she met in the Dominican Republic. They eventually got married, and he came to live with the Atlanta, Georgia, native in America. Right off the bat, 90 Day Fiance fans could see cracks in their relationship. Their families clashed, and his family always wanted or demanded something from Pedro. They wanted money and goods, which caused a lot of tension between the duo. Chantel eventually became a nurse, an achievement viewers watched play out on the spinoff, The Family Chantel. Yet, Pedro was mad that she would not be bringing home an excessive amount of money.

Finally, the couple parted ways, and it was not unexpected, but even the ending was as rocky as the marriage itself. Chantel moved on to another spinoff, The Single Life, but was unsuccessful. She also appeared on The Hunt For Love, but when the tell-all aired, she revealed a secret. Chantel had been seeing a friend of the family, Ashley Bowen. This shocked everyone, including her mother, and no one knew what to make of it. They then moved in together, and now, Chantel has revealed the two are engaged.

Ashley officially popped the question, and did it with a stunning diamond ring. The two were out on a scenic adventure, donned in black attire. Ashley wore a blinged-out suit while Chantel had on a strapless black dress. That was when Ashley got down on one knee, in front of a white castle, and asked the 90 Day Fiance star to be her wife. They shared the big news on social media with more pictures and details to come for all of their followers.

Despite Chantel Everett having suffered a broken heart, she seems thrilled with how her life has turned around.
