Olympic champion Aly Raisman bared it all for the 2015 edition of ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue. The special photo series focused entirely on celebrating the vast diversity of peak athletic physiques. Consequently, Raisman used the unique platform to explicitly promote a healthier, much more positive body image for women.
She performed highly difficult, mid-air splits and complex gymnastics poses while completely naked for the cameras.

The then 21-year-old opened up about her intense training schedule, which often lasted seven grueling hours daily. She admitted that the repetitive routines take an incredibly heavy physical and mental toll on her.
However, she proudly stated that she finally learned to fully embrace her highly muscular, 5-foot-2 framework.
