Angel Reese is in the middle of another great second year, but now she has to deal with comments from Robert Griffin III.

Robert Griffin III’s claim about Angel Reese having “hate” towards Caitlin Clark caused Reese’s mom to call him out.

The former NFL quarterback turned sports media personality made a lengthy X post on July 10 that’s raising many eyebrows within the women’s basketball community.

While condemning racism directed toward the Chicago Sky superstar, RGIII’s post wrote, “I have been quiet on the Angel Reese front because she shared a video that aided in my wife, kids, family and friends receiving death threats, threats of physical harm to my family and friends and threats of sexual violence to my children on social media and beyond.

“That will never be okay with me. I never attacked her or her family when I stated and backed up with clear basketball evidence that Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark. It’s sports. Everybody won’t like each other.

“People in Angel’s inner circle called me and told me I was right, and Angel Reese has grown to hate Caitlin Clark because of the media always asking her about Caitlin and being constantly compared to her.”

This post prompted a response from Angel Reese’s mom as she called RGIII out for what he said about her daughter hating Caitlin Clark.

“Man stop with the 🧢 My daughter’s “circle” is so small & tight so I’d be interested 2 know who called U Whomever U say “called” U 🤔 is not in her circle 2 speak on her feelings towards a media/fandom made up beef. Just stay on that side bc the doors are closed over here,” Reese’s response wrote.

Eventually, the woman herself couldn’t stay quiet and had to fire back as well.

Reese would take to Twitter and called RG3 out for lying, saying, “lying on this app when everybody know the first and last name of everybody in my circle for clout is nastyyyy work.”

Angel Reese Makes WNBA History With Streak of Rebounding Dominance

Angel Reese dropped another double-double.

Earlier this week, Reese finished with 22 points on 5-of-9 shooting and 15 rebounds as the Sky fell 81-79 to the Washington Mystics.

Reese at least extended her streak of 15-plus rebounds to six games.

Reese then achieved an impressive scoring feat during Wednesday’s matchup between the Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings.

In 29 minutes of action, Reese finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds, an assist, and a block.

Fearne Cotton has broken her silence on split from husband Jesse Wood in her first TV interview since the breakup.

Joining Lorraine Kelly on Monday’s episode of the ITV show, the TV presenter, 43, also gave an health update after having two tumours removed from jaw.

Fearne announced her split from Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones bass guitarist Ronnie Wood, in December after 10 years of marriage.

She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.

Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.

She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.

‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’

Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.

She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best

It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.

Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’
