Sports host and analyst Ashley Nicole Moss recently stunned social media after sharing something about her fandom of Carmelo Anthony. Moss was born and raised in New York, so she supported the Knicks and cheered on Anthony during his time there.

Just like any other passionate Knicks fan right now, Moss wasn’t too thrilled with what’s happening with the team. The Knicks have lost nine of their last 11 games, with a growing internal problem involving Karl-Anthony Towns and coach Mike Brown.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Moss reacted to the report of some Knicks players being unhappy with Brown. They have not fully bought into Brown’s coaching, which has infuriated some parts of the fanbase, including the popular CBS Sports analyst.

“If this is true — this on the players. You can’t want a change, get a change and not commit to the change. If you wanna do the same things, you’re gonna get the same results. It’s that simple,” Moss tweeted.

One of the responses Ashley Nicole Moss received claimed that the players didn’t want the change. The New York Knicks parted ways with Tom Thibodeau despite being two wins away from their first NBA Finals in 2000.

Moss brought up being okay with change by bringing in her love for Carmelo Anthony back when she was just a teenager.

“And I didn’t want Carmelo Anthony to get married before I turned 18 — we all gotta pivot at some point,” Moss tweeted.

Carmelo Anthony married La La Vasquez on July 10, 2010, when Ashley Nicole Moss was just 17 years old. It was a weird tweet in a way, but she just wants fans to be okay with the change that the players wanted, though it’s unclear if it’s really about the players or the front office that wanted Tom Thibodeau gone.

Carmelo Anthony concerned about Karl-Anthony Towns

Speaking on NBA on NBC, Carmelo Anthony expressed his concerns about Karl-Anthony Towns, who is having a hard time adjusting to Mike Brown’s coaching. Towns is having a solid season, but his body language is something that has some people thinking.

“KAT shot an airball in the fourth (quarter) the other day, and I said, ‘It’s over with, leave it alone,” Anthony said, according to NBA Courtside. “Onto the next.’ He looked back, and said, ‘Aight, I got you OG.’ For him to shoot that airball and acknowledge what I said in that moment, you’re thinking about that. You cannot think like that throughout the game because now you’re worrying about what people are saying about you.”

The Knicks’ next test is on Wednesday against rivals Brooklyn Nets, a team with a record of 12-29.
