The Bachelor star unveiled MoreThanFluff.com, something he said they’d been working on for the last six months. “We’re so stoked to finally launch. We set out to make the world’s most comfortable bean bags,” he wrote in the caption on the Instagram post.

Sean Lowe chose an interesting way to promote the new bean bag line. He made a video address of his “good news,” but his wife, Catherine, smacked him in the eye until he corrected it to “big news.”

One by one, the father of three’s children joined in, hitting their dad right in the face. After each hit, Sean Lowe added a new superlative to the “news.”

Bachelor Fans Blast Her For Violent Act

The Bachelor couple, especially Sean Lowe, regularly posts content that’s supposed to be funny. Usually, their followers laugh along. However, Catherine hitting her husband shocked fans. They called her out in the comments for the violent act.

“I love you guys but This was u comfortable to watch. Joking is fun but hitting in the face is just wierd. Not really funny at all. Try again? Yikes”
“Well, I didn’t watch until the end , promoting physical violence, even for fun is not OK just wanted to let you know since you do have such a big platform”
“Didn’t like this video at all! Why the slapping on the face?! This is not funny!”
“Love you guys, but I thought the hitting was weird”
“Why is this funny? The violence kept me from watching”
“The hitting isn’t cool.”

The post was clearly meant to be a funny way to promote the new bean bag line. But instead, it triggered many of the couple’s social media followers. Other fans weren’t impressed with the new furniture venture. One fan said the products were way too pricey at $300 or more.

Neither Sean or Catherine has responded to the backlash. Since the post is still up, they don’t seem to regret the violent promotional video. Tell us in the comments if you think the reaction from fans was too sensitive.
