Former RHONY star Bethenny Frankel is sharing her shocking yet life-changing diagnosis. The reality television alum and mogul has been candid about her health issues all along. Bethenny Frankel Shares Shocking Diagnosis

For years, The Real Housewives of New York fans watched Bethenny Frankel talk about various health issues. She detailed how she had a “long and torturous colon.” This was why she did not get sick when the cast went to Cartagena, Colombia, in Season 10. Meanwhile, everyone else was running to the bathroom constantly. Furthermore, she has an insane fish allergy, which sent her to the emergency room at the end of Season 11. Had she delayed Benadryl a few minutes longer, she would not be here any longer. Now, the RHONY alum is sharing a heartbreaking new diagnosis.

After getting bloodwork done and having it come back, the mother of Brynn learned that she has stage 2 chronic kidney disease. The fifty-five-year-old took to social media to explain what had transpired and made it clear it was only to help others. She started off by saying this:

“I have a medical announcement. Not because I want you to worry, but because I want you to take precautions in your own life, be mindful.”

As Bethenny went on with her medical news, she noted that she was always vigilant when it came to her health. Unfortunately, her bloodwork came back and revealed that her “kidney function was coming up low.” There was a referral to a specialist, and the former RHONY OG admitted she did not care to go. However, she went and learned her diagnosis. What Bethenny Frankel discovered was that this could be autoimmune, or it could have stemmed from the horrendous allergy incident she previously had. It may have led her to what she is going through in the present day.

Other Issues

As aforementioned, the RHONY alum has colon problems and severe allergies. Plus, she has long COVID and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Most recently, she was on vacation in St. Barths when she came home with a bacterial infection. There is a lot that she needs to change in her life, but Bethenny Frankel wants her followers to take care of themselves. She wants them to get their blood checked regularly so they can find any problems sooner rather than later. After fans and followers learned about what she was going through, they shared their sadness:
