BIG Brother champ Ashley Hollis has been criticized by fans for complaining about her car troubles in a “tone deaf” tweet.
The reality star, who won Season 27 of Big Brother and the whopping $750,000 cash prize, angered fans after she shared a post on X about her issues at the dealership.

Ashley ended the year by treating herself to a brand-new BMW; however, she revealed she’s already experienced numerous problems with the vehicle.
“I really just want my car. Shame on BMW! They sold me a brand new 2026 car they didn’t charge properly, when my car came the battery light was on, and now are trying to say they will only pay for half and I need to pay the other $700! Excuse me?! A brand new car!!!” the TV star ranted on the platform.
Ashley’s followers weren’t sympathetic to her car troubles, as many slammed the ABC star for whining about money, given that she’d just received a large payout from the show.
“You sound like a spoiled entitled brat see verucha from Willy wonka and I’m talking about the original with gene wilder none of that new age crap,” one person replied.
“Rich ppl and their new BMW problems lol it’s not like you can’t afford $700,” said another.
“Rich people problems,” a third echoed, and a fourth chimed in, “With everything going on in the world this is so tone deaf.”
Ashley further grumbled about her new car mishap in several follow-up tweets.
“The only positive is they gave me a loaner car while they were investigating what was wrong with my BRAND NEW car.
“But now it’s been 3 weeks and back and forth. They said they’d get back to me in the next 5 days after a ‘corporate investigation.’ Maybe don’t buy the new BMW,” her second post read.
“These corporate companies try to get over on you these days, it’s sad,” Ashley continued her tirade in a third tweet.
“Always know your rights as a consumer! If you don’t understand law, at least take some time to research all of your rights as a consumer. That applies to flight airlines, products, everything!”
In another post on Friday, the TV star appeared to indirectly clap back at the mounting comments by defending newly elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, who was called out for wearing over $600 leather boots to her husband’s swearing-in ceremony.
“Can we stop shaming people for having nice things in 2026?? Please??! She probably worked hard for those shoes, you go girl!” Ashley wrote and shared an article about the First Lady’s ensemble.
Ashley’s tweets come one week after her Big Brother co-star, Mickey Lee’s, sudden death after a series of cardiac arrests.
Mickey’s family revealed on Christmas Day that the Florida native passed just days after being hospitalized following complications from the flu.
An eerie video has since resurfaced from the show’s live feed, capturing Ashley and Mickey recalling a palm reading performed by their other co-star, Ava Pearl, in which Ava predicted Mickey’s death.
The pair laughed about Ava’s prediction at the time, though the scene was now unsettling to viewers amid Mickey’s unexpected passing at 35.
Mickey was the eighth houseguest evicted from the season and the first not to make the coveted jury.
Ashley secured the victory in the finale, with Vince Panaro taking the runner-up spot and Morgan Pope placing third.
