Subsequently, Paul proposed during a romantic tropical vacation in March 2025. He presented the champion speed skater with a massive diamond ring surrounded by white flowers. After a private-jet arrival in Capri, cliff dives, tennis, long dinners, and boat time around the Faraglioni rocks were packed into one stretch of late-summer Italy.
Furthermore, they spent time relaxing at sea to view the iconic Faraglioni rock formations. Consequently, Leerdam shared a viral beachside Instagram collage showcasing her striking bikini style.

Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam achieved massive success at the recent Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
She captured her very first Olympic gold medal in the women’s 1000-meter event. Remarkably, she clocked an explosive time of 1 minute and 12.31 seconds during the race. That incredible performance officially set a brand-new Olympic record on the ice. Furthermore, her legendary victory led to a dominant one-two finish for the Netherlands alongside teammate Femke Kok.
Leerdam added to her impressive medal haul just a few days later.
