Bravo is reportedly replacing most of the Season 15 RHONY cast except for two stars. The Real Housewives city was put on pause after a reboot attempt was a complete and total failure with viewers. Keep reading to find out which two stars are allegedly returning for Season 16.
Andy Cohen Insists Real Housewives Shows On Pause Aren’t Canceled
RHONY isn’t the only Real Housewives show pulled from the air. The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on pause for the foreseeable future. Both shows were put on pause for different reasons. Viewers hated the rebooted cast members of RHONY. On the other hand, it was the stars of RHONJ‘s hatred for each other that caused the show to stop filming.

Bravo host Andy Cohen fields questions from fans daily about the future of both shows. Some fans are afraid that neither show will ever return. But according to Andy, the shows aren’t canceled. The network is simply focusing on some of the other cities in the popular franchise, including the upcoming The Real Housewives of Rhode Island spinoff. The new show was reportedly filmed this summer in Providence, Rhode Island.
Bravo To Replace Most Of RHONY Cast, Only 2 Stars Stay?
Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield were chosen to replace the Season 13 RHONY stars. The spinoff didn’t do great but was given a second season to find its footing.
Many viewers called out the new cast for obviously manufacturing storylines to bring in ratings. Their tricks didn’t work. Brynn Whitfield revealed after the Season 15 finale that she wouldn’t be returning to the show. Then Bravo revealed that the show itself wasn’t returning right away either.
In addition to cancellation speculation, there have been a lot of names thrown around for newbies joining the show. A new report by The U.S. Sun claims that most of the cast from Season 15 won’t return for another season. The outlet claims that everyone was fired except for Sai De Silva and Erin Lichy.
Furthermore the source names Daisy Toye, a makeup artist for Martha Stewart, as one of the new additions. They also claim that two social media influencers and a rich socialite are among the newbies. The insider deemed rumors that Jessel Taank is returning as false.
Bravo issued a statement to The U.S. Sun addressing the speculation. “That’s not true, no one has even been reached out to for another season of RHONY, as of yet,” the network said.
The speculation about the popular reality TV show comes amid a lawsuit filed by another Bravo alum alleging producer manipulation. Season 13 RHONY star Leah McSweeney also has a pending lawsuit. She claimed that The Real Housewives was a “toxic” workplace. She also blamed the network for capitalizing on her relapse.
