Even with such a long history of success on primetime television, viewers have noticed some major problems with Season 27 of the show, as many promised twists and shakeups were not delivered as expected. Season 27 Of Popular Program A “Flop”?

Season 27 of Big Brother premiered on July 10 on CBS. The show is filming at Radford Studio Center in Studio City, in Los Angeles, California. This season includes a specially designed space, called “Hotel Mystere.”

With all of that being said, there have been a number of twists and promised shakeups that this season has failed to deliver on. Ahead of the Season 27 premiere back in July, CBS teased a number of twists. However, due to things like “tech blunders” and more, those promises have fallen flat, with some even referring to this season as a “flop.”

With the two-hour Big Brother Season 27 finale set to air on Sunday, September 28, at 8:30 pm EST, there is still a lot of hype heading into the season finale, even with these blunders in tow.

Big Brother Insider Opens Up About Show Issues

A recent Big Brother insider had plenty to say to The US Sun about many of the technical issues that have gone down this season and what the insider called a “classic case of production overpromising.”

The insider said, “They had big plans but all of their biggest swings ended up just totally flopping. The interactive set had technical issues so that played a part in why things were not featured as promised. But also, as the game played out, certain twists and advantages wouldn’t have fit into the season so it was a plot-driven decision too.”
