Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has been officially banned from entering Ohio Stadium for the season opener between Ohio State and Texas.

While Portnoy is scheduled to appear on FOX Sports’ ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ pregame show, he will have restricted access to the stadium.

The sports media personality, a known supporter of Michigan, hardly has a kind word to say about the Buckeyes and has been highly critical of head coach Ryan Day. As such, Front Office Sports has reported that he will be barred from entering said venue this coming Saturday.

Portnoy dragged OSU into his rant about the NCAA announcing its punishment for the Wolverines earlier this month, telling the program, “Cry, little brother. Cry, Buckeyes. We’ve mashed you for the past 100 years and we’re gonna do it again. Student-body left, student-body right—we’re coming.”

FOX Sports has explained that Portnoy will be part of the outdoor segment near the stadium but will not be allowed inside once the broadcast switches to in-stadium coverage.
