Dwight Howard is grieving the heartbreaking loss of his dog, Sunday, after a hit-and-run incident left the former NBA star searching for answers. The 38-year-old big man, now suiting up in the BIG3 league after an 18-season NBA career, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the devastating news with his fans.

In a series of emotional photos and videos, Howard remembered Sunday as more than just a pet. The Belgian Malinois had been his source of peace and comfort, what he called his “protector” and “joy.”

According to Howard, the tragedy unfolded on June 18 in Suwanee, Georgia, where Sunday was fatally struck by a car that fled the scene without stopping.

“I need answers,” Howard wrote in a heartfelt caption. “And I won’t stop searching until I find out what happened to my beautiful Sunday.”

The former NBA champion reflected deeply on the bond he shared with his dog. “You were my peace. My protector. A reminder of everything beautiful and calm, just like those early Sunday mornings,” he shared with his 3.2 million followers.

Howard is now asking for help from the public to identify the person responsible. Though he didn’t provide further details about the incident, his post suggests he believes someone out there knows more than they’re saying.

Fans quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support and sympathy. “My condolences, brother,” one follower wrote. “Sunday was a beautiful dog. May you find the answers and have peace.”

Howard has kept his basketball journey alive in the BIG3, a 3-on-3 league created by Ice Cube. Despite that, the recent loss of his pet has clearly shaken him on a personal level.

He called Sunday more than a pet, Sunday was family. Howard is now seeking justice while sharing his world with fans. His story reflects love, heartbreak, and hope that someone will finally reveal the truth.

Haliey Welch returned to social media following two weeks of silence prompted by the launch of her meme coin backfiring.

The “Hawk Tuah” Girl, as she’s also known, announced the release of a crypto altcoin branded $HAWK earlier this month that soared to a market cap of close to $500 million before quickly plummeting to a loss of 95 percent of its value.

She put out a tweet denying any wrongdoing in the immediate aftermath before disappearing. But she was back on Friday to reveal she was working with a law firm to take those responsible to task.

“They played you and ripped off your fans. But web 3 is like that. Everyone warned you. You picked the team to work with and got paid $125k up front. You have to take some blame,” a comment read.

“I TOLD YOU something was not right….It made no sense for her to screw over her fans. I hope everyone is made whole,” someone wrote.

“I honestly feel bad for you.  When fame comes quick like that, everybody becomes your friend and it’s hard to know who to trust,” said another.

Haliey Welch Files Class Action Lawsuit

The law firm named in Haliey’s tweet has filed a class action lawsuit against the creators of the $HAWK coin.

They have also suggested that the “Hawk Tuah” Girl was a victim as she was fed bad information by people who were simply trying to take advantage of her viral success.

Haliey is expected to return to regular programming once she clears her name.

There’s a conspiracy theory for just about everything, including bizarre ones relating to the highly publicized relationship between Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The three-time Super Bowl champion has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift for over a year. Their rumored romance was confirmed when Swift attended the Chiefs’ Week 3, 2023 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kelce’s romance with Swfit has been a giant win for the Chiefs and the NFL, too. She has brought plenty more attention to the NFL and contributed to the Chiefs’ skyrocketing popularity worldwide.

Naturally, conspiracy theorists believe the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance is simply a marketing ploy to help the Chiefs and the league. But Chiefs president Mark Donovan finally addressed the ridiculous rumor during an appearance on NBC’s “Squawk Box” program:

“I’d love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship. And we’re happy to have it, and it’s been nothing but good for us.

I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it’s had on us is, Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom. She’s an authentic fan and that matters to our fans and our fan base and to matters to us and we try to respect that.”
