Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown is currently in the spotlight after the news surfaced that Jayson Tatum could miss the whole 2025-26 NBA season due to a non-contact Achilles tendon rupture. Several NBA analysts and players are giving their opinions on Brown’s role in the upcoming season. Recently, a Celtics analyst expressed doubts about Brown’s ability to lead the team to a top-six finish.

Amid these discussions, Brown fueled speculations about his potential to play for his hometown in the future. During a recent appearance on the Big Tigger Morning Show, Brown discussed the possibility of playing for the Atlanta Hawks in the future.

In addition to his dominance on the court, Brown is an admirable person off the court as well. Recently, he visited his former school, Lilburn Middle School, and reconnected with the students and staff. The Celtics star also played basketball with both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams.

“I just want to remind you…that you…can do anything that you set your mind to. Anything in the world that you want to accomplish, you can do it. I went to the same school, and I’ve been able to travel all over the world. I’ve been able to do a lot of amazing things, and that journey, that journey started right here at Lilburn Middle. I believe in you, I know you’re going to do great things, and I’m so happy that I could come back and see you.” Brown said (via Gwinnett County Public Schools).

Off the court, Brown also faced some major challenges this offseason. Recently, the Police arrested Brown’s father for attempted murder charges.
