Bravo is reportedly looking to bring RHONY back to TV sooner rather than later. The show was put on pause after a failed reboot. An ex of TLC star Jon Gosselin is rumored to be a potential new cast member on the reality show. Keep reading for all the details.

RHONY In Crisis At Bravo

The Real Housewives franchise turns twenty next year. The Real Housewives of Orange County debuted in 2006, followed by The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. 

The popular reality series has dozens of shows in various cities across the U.S. and beyond. Some cities, like Real Housewives of D.C., were complete failures that ended after one season. The Real Housewives of New York City underwent a complete cast overhaul in 2022 after complaints about the previous cast’s behavior.

Season 14 premiered in 2023 with an all-new cast that included Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield. The show returned for Season 15 but was then put on pause amid low ratings and several cast departures.  

Another Real Housewives show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is also on pause. Both shows are rumored to be looking for brand new cast members. 

Ex Of Jon Gosselin Reportedly In Consideration

One person in consideration is an ex of TLC star Jon Gosselin. He famously starred in Jon & Kate Plus 8 with his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin and their brood of eight children. The former couple split just a year after the show premiered. It continued as Kate Plus 8. 

Exes Jon and Kate Gosselin still have bad blood between them. Their son, Collin, went to live with Jon in 2018 and hasn’t spoken to his mother since. Kate is enjoying a resurgence in popularity due to her TikTok videos.

While she would love to return to reality TV, she now lives in Troutman, North Carolina, making it unlikely she’d join RHONY.

The U.S. Sun reported that Hailey Glassman was recently spotted out with RHONY stars Erin Lichy and Sai De Silva. The ladies had dinner at the Ascent Lounge in New York City’s Time Warner Center, sparking speculation that Hailey Glassman was joining the Bravo show for Season 15.

Hailey Glassman and Jon Gosselin dated after he separated from Kate Gosselin in 2009. They split later that year amid cheating allegations. Hailey Glassman went on to join CMT’s Sweet Home Alabama dating show.

He’s currently planning a wedding to his fiance, Stephanie Lebo. The former TLC star previously had a long-term relationship with Colleen Conrad.
