Marcus Jordan has learnt his fate following an arrest in February.
Marcus, the son of legendary basketball figure and six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan, was arrested for DUI after his car was found stuck on railroad tracks in Florida. According to the officers at the scene, the 34-year-old showed signs of impairment, while he was heard on bodycam footage saying, “I’m Marcus Jordan! Michael Jordan’s son!”
The younger MJ was charged with DUI, resisting an officer, and cocaine possession. However, the latter was amended to ketamine possession on the back of a lab test.
Marcus agreed to a deal with the court on Monday, which could see the charges against him dropped, as it is a form of deferred prosecution. The charges will remain on hold and will be dropped if he meets specific requirements.
According to WFTV9 (H/T Yahoo), Marcus Jordan’s tasks include the following:
Completing 50 hours of community service.
Paying a monthly supervision fee.
Having an interlock device installed in his car.
Making a $1,000 donation to a list of approved organizations.
Write a 250-word apology letter to the arresting officer.
Submitting to random dr::ug testing

Marcus Jordan was in a controversial, high-profile relationship with Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of his father’s former teammate, Scottie Pippen, whom he even planned to marry. They went through a split last year and have both moved on.
Since his arrest, he has been trying to turn his life around, embarking on a journey of sobriety.
Per TMZ Sports, he was working on getting into a program that could help him further.
“It’s a step in the right direction for Jordan,” the outlet noted, “as he stated in court docs back in March, he was struggling with ‘challenges’ stemming from ‘alcohol/substance use’ and offered to take courses to address the issues head-on.”
Should Marcus fulfill the abovementioned obligations, he will be a free man.
