Some of Michael Jordan’s private texts were revealed during a bitter court battle between NASCAR and the former NBA superstar’s racing team.

Jordan has been locked in a feud with the stock car racing league for nearly a year and recently received some terrible news, with a judge rejecting a request from the team to race charters while the court case continues.

According to the Daily Mail, several vulgar emails and text messages sent by MJ and other parties were disclosed in a hearing earlier this week.

The six-time NBA champion, the owner of the 23XI Racing Team, used some coarse language in reference to Joe Gibbs Racing and the 13 other teams that signed NASCAR’s new charter agreements nearly one year ago.

“Teams are going to regret not joining us,” he’s said to have written to his business manager, Curtis Pol, in a text.

23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports were the only teams that refused to sign the charter agreements. Both teams have since sued NASCAR, accusing the league of bullying and being a monopoly while claiming they risk going under if NASCAR sells their charters out from under them.

Since retiring from basketball, Jordan has amassed incredible wealth, much of it due to his lucrative partnership with Nike.

Even so, he isn’t keen on seeing his team go out of business.
