Sha’Carri Richardson has admitted she needs help following her arr3st for assaulting her boyfriend, Christian Coleman, at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport late last month.

The Olympic sprinter took to her Instagram Story this week, posting a video expressing her regret over the incident. She claimed the moment prompted intense self-reflection and exposed her need to seek help and accountability.

“I’m taking this time to not only see myself but get myself a certain level of help that overall is going to reflect who I truly am in my heart and in my spirit and not allowing this moment, but accepting this moment to be more,” she said.

“I put myself in a compromised situation,” Richardson added. “I refuse to run away … but face everything that comes to me head-on.”

While she did not reference or apologize to Coleman in the video, she posted a written apology to her BF and fellow track star on Tuesday morning.

“I apologize to Christian,” she wrote. “He came into my life and gave me more than a relationship but a greater understanding of unconditional love from what I’ve experienced in my past. Due to past trauma and pain, I was blind and blocked off to not only receive it but give it.”

Sha’Carri Richardson initially told police that her altercation with Christian Coleman didn’t go past words, yet surveillance footage shows her grabbing him, shoving him several times, pushing him into a wall, and throwing an object at him.

She was arr3sted and spent 19 hours behind bars at the South Correctional Entity in Des Moines, Washington.

Coleman refused to press charges, telling authorities he didn’t want to be made a victim while claiming Sha’Carri should not have been arr3sted.

“I don’t feel like she should have been arr3sted. People have discussions and emotions. She’s a human being and a great person,” he declared.

Both Richardson and Coleman have since competed at the U.S. Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Richardson, the reigning 100m world champ, has an automatic bye for the World Championships in Tokyo next month.

USA Track and Field acknowledged the incident but didn’t comment further.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
