Paige Bueckers is taking her talents to the next level.

The 2025 WNBA Draft will be headlined by the UCoon star, who has been penciled in as the top pick ever since she decided to exercise her fifth year of eligibility.

Former WNBA star and current ESPN broadcaster Rebecca Lobo spoke to Bueckers this week, and she made a huge announcement.

University of Connecticut star Paige Bueckers is planning to go pro in 2025. She will reportedly declare for the 2025 WNBA Draft, squashing rumors suggesting she could wait another season before joining the league.

The 23-year-old averaged 19.2 points and 4.8 assists for the Huskies as a senior.

Beyond Bueckers, there is a deep pool of lead guards, scorers, and wings who are eager to make their impact at the next level.

Players are supposed to declare their draft status within 48 hours after their team’s season has ended

UConn is still in the midst of the Tournament, so Bueckers just wanted to get this distraction out of the way so she could focus on her ultimate college goal.

UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers likely headed to Dallas Wings as first-round pick.

Bueckers is the top-ranked prospect in the WNBA draft, which will take place on April 14.

The Wings were awarded the No. 1 draft pick this season.

And while Bueckers is not guaranteed to go to the Wings, it seems outlandish to think they will go with somebody else.

In November, after Dallas won the WNBA Draft lottery, longtime Wings star Arike Ogunbowale posted just how happy she was on X.
