Steven McBee Sr. Begins Pris0n Sentence

Steven McBee Sr. enjoyed his last few days of freedom by reportedly spending Thanksgiving with his on/off girlfriend, Masha Petrova. While the two seemed to split at the end of Season of The McBee Dynasty, his son spilled to Bravo that he sees her at the farm “three or four nights out of the week.”

The McBee family patriarch pleaded guilty to crop insurance fraud in November 2024 but only received a sentence in October. The judge sentenced him to two years in pris0n, plus two years of supervised release. Furthermore, he has to pay $4 in restitution. He reports to pris0n in Yankton, South Dakota, on Monday, December 1.

The popular show is currently filming Season 3, which means fans will get to see Steven McBee Sr. head to pris0n to begin his sentence. He opened up to PEOPLE magazine about how he’s portrayed on the reality show.

“On season 1, they were like, ‘Don’t worry, we’re going to make you look like a hero.’ After I seen it, I was like, ‘I’m not sure what your definition of a hero is, but that’s not really mine,’” he said.

Steven McBee added, “But, that’s okay. I mean, the show did well, and that drama is that drama. They certainly know how to produce it and show it.”

Steven McBee’s Girlfriend Remanded To J:ail After He Enters Pris0n

Two days after Steven McBee Sr. starts his pris0n sentence, Masha Petrova begins a ja:il sentence of her own. She must spend two days in j:ail in Missouri for a speeding ticket. The reality star won’t be free until she pays any fines relating to the speeding ticket.

Since her stay is so short, it is unclear if it will feature on the show. However, Steven McBee Sr. opened up about his final days leading up to his pris0n sentence.

“I feel like there’s so many things to get ready, so I’ve just been in this panic mode trying to make sure I thought of everything,” he told PEOPLE.

He added, “There’s going to be loose ends that fall through the cracks, but I would say the lion’s share of all major items have been covered. I mean, it’s definitely been an experience I never thought I would have.”

Steven McBee Sr. has received a lot of support from fans of the show ahead of his pris0n sentence.

“Always cheering for you and rooting for you!”
“Praying for you and your family. Enjoy this holiday weekend with your family and cherish the memories”
“You have a grateful attitude even with what you’re facing Steve!!!”

While serving time in pris0n is tough, the reality star remains “optimistic” that he can get through it.
