Travis Kelce had a bit of a throwback night on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions.

On Sunday night, Kelce played a key role in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 30-17 victory over the Detroit Lions. The star tight end recorded 78 yards on six receptions. This was his biggest production in any game this year.

Although he didn’t score a touchdown, his contribution was crucial in helping the team reclaim their record at .500. Patrick Mahomes threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another one.

The win improved Kansas City’s record to 3-3 on the season.

After the game, Kelce held an interview with ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt. He started off the conversation by saying they were joking about finally earning a spot on SportsCenter after putting up solid numbers.

“You know you’re always welcome here.

“Look, we would have chatted on Monday, but the [Jacksonville Jaguars] had other ideas.

The Chiefs lost last Monday night in the final seconds to the Jags.

At that point, Kelce turned the tables and put the ESPN host on the spot.

“I’m not going to lie, I’m a little upset,” Travis Kelce said.

“You were in Jacksonville last week, and you got them all fired up, SVP. Why can’t we get you out here to Arrowhead to fire up the KC crowd?”

SVP responded: “I mean, you know some people. You want me to bang on the drum, I’ll do it. They never asked. That’s all I’m saying.”

The Chiefs had some star power in attendance for Sunday night’s game against the Detroit Lions as Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark came together to watch the game from the same suite.

As her album “The Life of a Showgirl” continues to top the charts, Taylor Swift was back inside Arrowhead Stadium to watch her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Detroit Lions.

Swift and Clark were also in the same suite with Ed Kelce.

Patrick Mahomes’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, was also in the house that night. She made her presence known by trolling Terrion Arnold with his own meme after the game.

Travis Kelce did not score on this night, but he had his biggest production of the entire season.

Luka Doncic ‘destroys’ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić

While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.
