Anna Hall is getting a lot more in a year than she had hoped for. After winning heptathlon gold at the 2025 USA Championships, now she got engaged to New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton. Her year was already incredible, but this took it to a new level.

Hall announced the news with a huge smile. She posted photos from the proposal and shared a heartfelt caption: “My whole entire heart. In the exact place we first met I got to say yes to me and you forever.” She and Slayton have known each other for years, but this moment feels special for both.

Slayton planned the proposal even while dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. He didn’t wait, he got down on one knee and asked the question.

The 28-year-old wideout is also riding momentum from the offseason, after signing a three-year, $36 million deal with the Giants. And despite some recent frustration after a 68-yard touchdown was erased by a controversial penalty, Slayton’s year has been just as eventful as Hall’s.

A Dream Season for Hall

Hall keeps stacking milestones. She dominated the heptathlon at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with 6,888 points. She became the second American woman to claim the event and she didn’t hide her emotion afterward. “This gold means so much,” Hall said.

She also mentioned her talks with Jackie Joyner-Kersee about chasing the top spot. She opened up about her rough stretch in 2024 and how her injuries limited her in Paris. But Hall already keeps her plan ready and improve in every event.

Her year didn’t stop on the track. She stepped into the world of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for the first time. She posed for photos in Boca Raton and also said, “My body changed a lot from track growing up. I was always just naturally slender, [I] had a hard time putting on muscle and I got really used to being skinny,”

Fans might not know yet if she will return to SI Swimsuit in 2026. What she does know is that she has a wedding to plan. She and Slayton look ready to take on a new season together.
