The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders have gotten a huge raise heading into the 2025 NFL season, but one dancer won’t be around to enjoy it.

The second season of Netflix’s ‘America’s Sweethearts’ revealed that veteran KayDianna MacKenzie was suspended after being promoted last season, having faced accusations of bullying.

Chandi Dayle, who has been with the organization for five years, took a mental health break at one point after it was revealed that she brought a man to the cheerleader rooms during a trip to the Bahamas, something prohibited by the team.

MacKenzie addressed the matter during a live stream and promised to talk about it in a future video.

While she never mentioned Chandi’s name, it didn’t take a genius to figure out who she was referring to, and the team suspended her. She has since departed for good, with the crew leader revealing as much.

Kelli Finglass said the decision was sudden but final, nearing the end of season 2 of the aforementioned show.

MacKenzie also announced that she was quitting the team in an Instagram post.

“Though this door has closed, I trust fully in god’s plan and the new doors he is preparing to open,” she wrote. “I do not view this as a setback, but as a divine setup for what’s next. He is not finished with me yet, and I am stepping forward with expectation and joy for all he has in store.”

MacKenzie has remained active on social media following her exit from the team, and it shouldn’t be hard to figure out what she takes on next.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are gearing up for a season in which there’s hope that they can finally get over the hump. They will play their opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles, their rivals and the defending Super Bowl champions, at Lincoln Financial Field on September 4.

Dallas won’t have fond memories of playing Philly last season. They lost both of their outings by 75-13 margins, 34-6 at home and 41-7 away.
